About

Chris Clinton is a California-born filmmaker and photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. An avid surfer and skateboarder, he started honing his eye for photography at a young age and went on to pursue his childhood passion at New York’s prestigious School of Visual Arts.

Chris worked under the mentorship of renowned fashion photographer Guy Aroch before striking out on his own, and has since amassed an impressive body of work across editorial and advertising. Hugo Boss, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Brooklyn Circus are among the brands on his roster, as well as a broad range of magazine titles such as Cosmopolitan, Nylon, and Dazed and Confused. Chris recently added film to his repertoire and his latest video commissions include an ongoing collaborative project with Skate brand Mighty Healthy and Reebok, behind-the-scenes footage for E!’s Kardashian franchise, and a music video for rising Californian electro artist Goon Rock, which made the Palisades Film Festival shortlist. He is currently putting together a personal series of beauty portraits, and is hoping to combine his love of food and photography with a cookbook in the near future.
